Lay Leadership

“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”

(Colossians 2:6-7 KJV)

Ministry assisting the church in achieving its goal of developing leaders for an effective distribution of the gospel throughout the body of Christ and the world.

Guest Services / Help Ministry

“For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary: from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those who are appointed to death; To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; When the people are gathered together and the kingdoms to serve the Lord.”

(Psalms 102:19-22 KJV)

First impressions in a lot of cases are one of the most lasting impressions that people will make when they are introduced to you and meet you. It is for this very reason that our church family is so blessed to have Mrs. Daisy Sevier to lead this ministry of helps in serving the people of God.

New Partnerships

Recently KCM partnered with a collegiate ministry company called Restoration Corner Ministry based in Nashville, TN. This partnership immediately connects the ministry to the collegiate young adult, reaching them within the campus and community.

Restoration Corner Ministry

To be admitted again to fellowship, an excluded member must acknowledge the justice of their exclusion, and give evidence of their repentance by assurance of discontinuance of their offense, and having thus vindicated the church’s action may apply for restoration membership.  The church should always be willing and even anxious to forgive.  A wholesome custom obtained in many churches of praying publicly for the excluded member that he may deeply and sincerely repent (Galatians 6:1).

One of the best ways of dealing with error in the church is for the Pastor to preach in strong and no uncertain words against sin wherever and whenever found.  Good judgment and ‘mother wit’ will show that especially where the offense is repeated and where it is needed, a church should exercise its power of discipline, notwithstanding.  It may take time for the erring brother to regain confidence of his fellow members, but he should be treated with kindness and restored to full membership.

“Students Serving Christ on their campus and community.”

Restoration Corner Ministries strives to foster a culture of worship and spiritual formation at TSU and Fisk; encouraging intentional service to God through evangelism, discipleship, worship, missions, and local ministry, while involving collegians in meaningful leadership. We also promote the interaction of all University life including academic, co-curricular, and residential.

At RCM, our goal is to minister to college students and equip them to give their lives away. We operate our ministry on a small budget and rely heavily on the generosity of private individuals to make our ministry possible.

We also promote the interaction of all University life including academic, co-curricular, and residential. Our main focus is building Christian leaders for tomorrow to support the work of the Gospel.

Creative Thinking Youth (C.T.Y.)

We are the body of believers with a focus to rebuild the lives of youth and young adults through encouragement, comfort, joy and the peace of God.

C.T.Y. Takes part in the:

Merge Program

Inner-city local African American churches and Anglo churches from 6 states partnered with the Mid-South Baptist Association Tennessee Baptist Convention in “Merge” in order to reach young people for Jesus. A few of the participating churches that were involved in this venture were True Fellowship Baptist Church and One Faith Fellowship who joined together in partnering with the First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant Mississippi.

Each morning individual churches traveled with their group to various other churches and communities throughout the Mid-South, for a period of one week doing different types of mission work. These mission projects ranged from painting, landscaping, cleaning, yard work, block parties, cookouts, car washes, tract distribution, door to door evangelism, nursing home, VBS, back yard Bible Clubs amongst others. Through the mission projects many professions of faith took place.

Kingdom KAMP

Kingdom Kamp is a summer program at Kingdom Center Ministries that prides itself on having fun and learning about God. Each child receives special attention from the directors and each teacher. We are not the typical summer program! We are 50% recreational and 50% learning! We have different contests and events throughout the summer to keep each child interested and motivated. Every day is different at Kingdom Kamp!

Sisters of Strength

“The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. “

Titus 2:3-5

Sisters of Strength

Sisters of Strength was founded by our First Lady Jeanette West and Tequel Harding. It is a group of women that come together to show each other love, and to help each other through hard times. We worship, fellowship and care for each other. We are a group of women leaders who show the younger generation how to be Titus 2 women.

Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”

(Psalms 133:1 KJV)

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing incorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

Sound speech that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Titus 2

Children of the Kingdom

Children’s ministry

Our little Angels are precious! They are encouraged to be the best that they can be through arts, and a peer to peer teaching. We have fun learning how to live for Jesus!!!!

The Children of the Kingdom (Children’s Ministry) Participate in the Rites of passage program.

Rites of passage:

Rites of Passage Program is for male and female youth between the ages of 10 and 17 years old to teach them the necessary principles, values, cultural history and discipline which will anchor them on their passage through Adolescence, Puberty, and into Adulthood. Rites of Passage Programs help African American Youth to identify with not only their cultural heritage but also with all of the contributions that their ancestors have made to help make America the great country that it is today.

Both young men and maidens; old men and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all of his saints even of the children of Israel. A people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord!

(Psalms 148:12-14 KJV)

Setting the pace for future generations to follow!

We lead by example. We train and teach the younger generation how to live a life that is pleasing to God in today’s society!

  • Being a Positive Role Model!
  • Having Fun with the youth!
  • Caring for Others!
  • Training the youth to be better Human Beings!

Seasoned Saints

Seasoned Saints are the Pillars of One Faith Fellowship! They help in every aspect of the church development. They pass on the legacy and the life experiences that they have acquired over the years. They show the younger generations how to live for Jesus Christ, and how to have fun at the same time. They are setting the pace for elders everywhere to step up their game and reach the new generations for Christ!

Music in the Making

Music Ministry

Now praise is active and verbal. It must be seen or heard in order for it to be praise. Psalms 9:1 says, “I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works.” We are to praise God in the sanctuary (Psalms 134:2) and among the heathen (Psalms 18:49). We praise him in the sanctuary among the saints as a form of corporate praise. We praise him among the heathen as a witness, a testimony of his goodness. If our praise is not verbal or active, how are others to know that he is great? How will the sinner know that he is a good and compassionate God if our praise of him is not audible or visible; if he is not declared? Praise is what we do!

Community Outreach

Community Outreach Events

We have a number of things that we do for the community. We have an annual Labor day of Love Luau, Labor Day of Love Carnival, Hallelujah Festival (Halloween Festival), Christmas Party, and much more. We also adopted Cromwell School! We have volunteers that are used in the school to assist where ever they are needed! Working with these events and volunteering in the school helps bring the church and community together. We are all Family in the eyes of God!
