Kingdom Center Ministries

WHERE GOD’S APPLIED WORD MAKES THE DIFFERENCE!

a

Kingdom Center Ministries is under the direction and leadership of Pastor R. L. West, Sr. and Lady Jeanette West in Memphis, TN.

Presently, Kingdom Center Ministries is continuing to grow and abound in the Word and the Work of the Lord.  Pastor West continues the plight along with his faithful companion Lady Jeanette.  The church has other faithful ministry auxiliaries, teachers, and all of our wonderful members who help to make our church a true family of God.  Let us always remember the rich spiritual legacy which has been given us.  Throughout our existence, very strong emphasis has been placed on establishing and maintaining a strong, biblically sound foundation, having a personal relationship with Jesus, holy living, and being led by the Holy Spirit.  These are to be accomplished though praying, reading, studying, memorizing, meditating upon, and applying the Word of God to our lives daily.

OUR CHURCH COVENANT

a

Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations. We also engage to maintain family and secret devotions; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances;

to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment; to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale of, and use of, intoxicating drinks as a beverage or addictive drugs; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior. We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay. We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.

OUR MISSION

a
Ministry on a Mission
We are a body of believers with a focus to rebuild the lives of people through encouragement, comfort, joy and peace of God.
“And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones:
and thou shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
and thou shall be called, the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in.”
– Isaiah 58:11-12

This is the reward of the faithful believer who accepts Jesus as Savior and Lord of their lives. The crown represents reward for faithfulness. (1 Corinthians 4:2, 9:25, James 1:12, 1 Peter 5:4, Revelation 4:4)

This is the plan and purpose that God has for his people (Called the church) that we would become king/priests unto the father toward for edification of the Body of Christ and the glorification of the Father. (Revelation 1:6, Acts 4:32, Ephesians 4:5, 12-13)

Symbolizes a life of service to the members of the body of Christ and the world. This is the life that every believer looks forward to experiencing. This life can only be achieved through accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and allowing God’s Holy Spirit to guide you through it. (John 16:13, 1 John 5: 11-13; Revelation 21:1-7)

The word center is a representation of a process and place for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:12-16)
